Senior Due Dilligence Practitioner London |

The ideal candidate will have a strong EH&S due diligence (and compliance) auditing background, and have extensive experience of managing international multi-site M&A portfolios. Good organisational and communication skills are essential, together with a strong commercial sense. Familiarity with Monte Carlo analysis or equivalent would be useful. Demonstrable experience of developing on-going working relationships with corporate and/or private equity clients is a pre-requisite. A key component of the role will be the mentoring of project teams and development of clients. Professional registration would be an advantage.
Key areas of responsibilities within the due diligence team will include:
· Project management and direction - delivering due diligence services, including proporal preparation, client communications, project management, technical review, summary presentations, financial control and post project review.
· Business development - developing existing and new client relationships, product and services within the due diligence team and inter-practice (cross selling of services).
· Team management/recruitment - assist in the training and development of practitioners, and participate in recruitment to enhance our client’s service capabilities.
· Technical expertise - ensuring technically excellent work product, and use of innovative methods to interpret issues and present to clients.

You will assist with the development, implementation and maintenance of the Integrated Management Systems for this leading waste management company. Your responsibilities will include amongst others: assisting the Environment and Quality Manager in updating existing, and implementing new procedures to reflect best practices and to maintain and improve customer satisfaction, producing audit and inspection schedules for all activities and ensure that all audits are conducted in line with the schedule and Company procedures, conducting audits of Company facilities against all aspects of the Integrated Management System for health, safety, environment and quality and the associated standards, undertaking and maintaining the management system reviews in line with Company procedures and ISO standards, audit third party companies and suppliers and produce monthly reports on non-conformances and results of audits relating to Company activities. The successful applicant will have a degree in a relevant subject and will have previous experience of working in the waste industry. You should have an understanding of management systems, associated standards and best practice. Furthermore you should have a good knowledge of current legislation relating to the waste industry and how it impacts on the sector. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills you will have the ability to motivate others. IEMA membership is desirable and ideally you will be a EARA or IRQA registered auditor. Salary mid £20k’s+ together with a generous car allowance and other benefits. |
